Clearwater Outfitters is located in the rugged mountains of North Central Idaho and offers backcountry hunts on 160 square miles of National Forest land. From bear hunts in the spring, to back country fishing in high mountain lakes and streams during the heat of the summer, to bugling bull elk, rutting bucks, bright white mountain goats, and big bull moose in the fall Clearwater Outfitters has it all for the adventurous outdoorsman

Growing up in the mountains of Oregon, Roger and Ginger Haworth had a passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoor lifestyle. With their children at their side, they bought Clearwater Outfitters in 2005 and began the journey to create a business that would provide hunts that would make life long memories for their clients. Clearwater Outfitters offers clean well maintained facilities, great camp food often cooked in a dutch-oven, livestock you can trust to carry you through the beautiful Idaho mountains, and hunting guides with the experience to help you take home a well-earned trophy.

Clearwater Outfitters is an equal opportunity provider which has been offering excellent hunting, fishing, and photography tours at competitive prices for forty years. Operating out of the same end of the road base camp on the top of Smith Ridge in the Clearwater National Forest since 1964, Clearwater Outfitters provides access to over 100 square miles of the best Idaho has to offer.

We offer hunts out of base camp throughout the Mallard Larkin Pioneer area located in the Clearwater and Panhandle National Forests in North and Central Idaho.

Clearwater Outfitters provides excellent opportunities for elk, mule deer, white tail, and black bear hunts. One on one guides for controlled hunts such as moose and goat are also available.
